Anquan Boldin thought he had spent his last days in a classroom setting.

He was wrong.

The former Florida State receiver, along with 260 other rookie draft picks, have spent the last few days bouncing between seminars at the seventh annual NFL rookie symposium. During their time in the plush surroundings of the PGA National Resort and Spa, Boldin and others are learning the do’s—and mostly the don’ts—of life as an NFL player.

…Former Dolphins linebacker John Offerdahl, co-partner of Offerdahls with wife, Lynn, talked to rookies late Tuesday night about life after football and the transition from veteran to retirement. Offerdahl spoke on a panel with all-time rushing leader Emmitt Smith.

Other current NFL players who spoke included Randy Moss, Peyton Manning and Troy Vincent.
