Quarterback Jamie Martin briefly tested his bruised left knee Friday during the early portion of practice at Rams Park. But, like he did throughout the week, Martin spent the rest of the day watching Marc Bulger guide the Rams. He’ll do the same on Sunday because Bulger will be starting against Oakland, coach Mike Martz said.
That means the winless Rams will be forced to go up against the undefeated Raiders, who have the most powerful offense in the NFL, with their third-string QB, a second-year player who has never taken a snap in a regular-season NFL game.

Marc Bulger stuck as the Rams’ starting QB through the end of 2009 season.
