Michael Vick is learning quickly about the perils of being a young NFL quarterback. But he says Chicago Bears defensive coordinator Greg Blache, a 13-year NFL coaching veteran, needs to grow up.

Vick, 22, and teammate Willie Jackson said Wednesday that during the Falcons’ loss to Chicago on Sunday, Blache yelled at Bears defenders to go for Vick’s knees.

“I heard one of their coaches saying, ‘Take his knees out,’ ” said Vick, who later identified Blache from a photo in a Bears media guide as the coach.

Blache, 53, admitted instructing defenders to tackle Vick low.

“Sure,” he said. “If he’s going to run, what you gonna do?”

…This is not Blache’s first brush with controversy. In his first season with Chicago, he gained notoriety for handing out bullets to players for a big hit or play. The NFL ordered him to stop.
